Prototyping solution for creative design

17 February 2010

Pakready, a developer of prototyping systems for packaging, will be demonstrating a total solution for the production of short-run boxes, speciality packaging and POS collateral within the Packaging Innovations section of the easyFairs packaging exhibition, to be held on 24-25 February in Birmingham, UK.

The Packready system produces lifelike simulations of packaging and POS items in ‘a fraction of the time normally taken’, according to the company. With all images and graphics in position, prototypes can be created in vibrant full colour.

Built around state-of-the-art design, printing and cutting tools, the Pakready system is said to make it quick and easy to create innovative packaging designs, view them in 3D, apply the designs to board, foil or acetate, and precision cut the result ready for mock-up and presentation in minutes.

Pakready’s solutions are claimed to bring the benefits of speed and cost saving to all professionals involved in the development process, from brand managers to specialist repro houses.
